Such is the perverse confidence and fearmongering of our age that desperate and "my own brand is right "tyrants who don't know what they are doing, insist on writing the rule book for our children on" just how to do it." Hypocrits . They set new rules each week, that make no sense ,because they don't really understand what they are doing .
Still, the fanatics in charge are out to prove themselves preventers.
Those of us who actually prevent disasters in our profession (eg doctors nurses ,me in landslide,floods,pollution, economic unsustainability damage) know that one of the biggest risks to ineffectiveness is missing key ingredients in a plethora of activity and noise . We risk no funding being thought ineffective and even uneccesary as we are BUSY listening and not making NOISE and press statements. The things we prevent can't be put in our Performance Indicators!!
